A stray dog named Kali was recognized as a heroine in India after saving more than 30 children from a potentially deadly attack. The incident took place in a village in the state of Odisha, when a venomous snake approached a group of preschool students who were outside their school.

Kali reacted immediately and placed herself between the snake and the children, confronting it in an intense fight until she managed to kill it. However, during the struggle, she was bitten on the mouth and, despite her effort, died from the venom.
Thanks to her intervention, none of the children were injured. Afterward, the local residents held an emotional funeral ceremony in her honor, highlighting her bravery and sacrifice ❤️🩹.
