Carolina Flores was only 27 years old when she was shot dead with 12 bullets on April 15.
According to the investigation, the main suspect is Erika Herrera, her mother-in-law. Mexican media reported that Alejandro Sánchez, the victim’s partner, was also present at the time of the killing.
A recording shared on an X account shows Herrera speaking with the model, after which gunshots can be heard.
The victim’s partner approaches while holding their child in his arms and says, “What did you do, are you crazy?” to which the woman replied, “She made me angry.”
A few days later, Alejandro Sánchez filed a formal complaint with the Mexican prosecutor’s office against his own mother.”
