The death of his dog Duke in 2020 led a young man from Michoacán, Mexico, to create “Zadrigman,” a superhero who “is dedicated to raising awareness, rescuing little animals, organizing marches and events, giving talks to tell his story and trying to move people so that they love, care for and respect animals,” he says.
Since 2021 he has used his character to inspire children in particular.
