The incident was recorded by the cameras in the townhall.
An old man identified as Yusuf Doğan attacked the Aybasti’s mayor’s secretary Adem Demirkale with a cleaver.
The incident shocked the community as it was so unexpected. Yusuf slowly walked towards his victim to carry out his disturbing plan.
Two strikes to the head were enough to end Adem’s life, but he reacted quickly and with the help of his co-workers he was able to be saved.
The secretary’s face was already covered in red.
Despite the intensity of the attack, the victim was able to survive. He was rushed to Fatsa Hospital were he got immediate care. Fortunately it was more of a fright.
But no one understands why the attack happened.
According to witnesses, Yusuf had no issues with the secretary. He had been asking important questions in the audience until he turned into a monster.
The old man was arrested and his case is still under investigation.
