These are the heroes in this crisis.
The number of people infected with COVID-19 increases every day, especially of the most delicate cases of individuals who already had a disease before contracting the virus. In the face of this, hospital facilities and health professionals have had to work dozens of hours, giving their blood, sweat and tears, especially in those countries with the most complications.
In Italy, they have already surpassed 5,000 deaths and in Spain, 1,800. In the United States, the number of infected persons exceeds 35,000.
In many of these countries, doctors fight the virus “on the front lines”, with face masks, glasses, and other protective measures to avoid becoming infected with the virus.
Since they have had to spend most of the day covered up, the marks on their faces leave burns or “battle wounds.”
They risk their lives on a daily basis, becoming the heroes of this crisis for their sacrifice.
