When it comes to education, there are many challenges that students must overcome that go beyond doing well in exams or passing subjects. There are things that are often overlooked even by teachers, and that’s the effort of each student to be where they are, whether it’s for family or financial reasons.
This is even more complicated for those who have children or who have started families and still have to get ahead in their careers while also providing for their families.

These stories are being told in high schools and universities alike. One of them is that of Guido Acosta, a 22-year-old who is studying agricultural engineering at the National University of Pilar in Paraguay.
According to information from EXTRA, Guido became a father at the age of 17. From then on, he’s had to juggle both to continue his studies and to care for and raise his 4-year-old daughter.

Sometimes, days get disorganized, and emergencies happen. One of them happened to Guido right when he had to face two exams in one day, for which he’d been studying for a long time.
Since he had to be at the university for the entire day and had no one to leave his daughter with, he decided to take her to the university to accompany him. «I had no one to leave my daughter with that day since her mother had things to do, so I took her with me,» he explained.

While the young man was doing his tests, he sat his daughter next to him and she waited patiently. The little girl entertained herself with her father’s cell phone, playing games and watching videos using headphones.
The scene moved the teacher who was giving the test at the time so much that she decided to photograph him and his daughter.
