After a long year of work, everyone is looking forward to a good holiday, including bosses. And while these people are often seen as «mean» and «selfish», the truth is that this isn’t always the case since some have shown that they really do think about their employees.
The arrival of the end of the year is synonymous with Christmas and celebration. Although sometimes we wish we had more time to devote to it, Ken Griffin made sure that was the case for his company.

Ken Griffin is the CEO and founder of financial services company Citadel, which had quite a fruitful year. Griffin didn’t want to thank his workers by leaving them empty-handed.
The 54-year-old billionaire boss thought up a holiday for his 10,000 employees, so he took money out of his own pocket to invite them all to Walt Disney World amusement park in Florida.

Citadel spokesperson Zia Ahmed explained that Griffin paid for the airfare from New York, Houston, Paris, Zurich and other cities, i.e., from the US, France and Switzerland. He also financed the hotels, park entrance fees and meals, which ranged from lamb chops, sushi, and paella.

All this so that Citadel employees could exclusively enjoy the magical world of Walt Disney World with their families. He also paid for performances by the band Coldplay and singer Carly Rae Jepsen to perform with DJ Diplo.
Of course, he took the opportunity to thank everyone for their efforts. «We have built the most extraordinary team not only in our history, but also in the history of finance,» he said, according to the New York Post. «We have an incredible future ahead of us, and I look forward to the chapters that have yet to be written,» he added.
