Mónica Bracamontes was visiting the Yucatán Xmatkuil Fair (Mexico) with her friend Silvanashow before a performance when several little ones approached her to ask for a photo since her outfit and style were similar to that of the Frozen protagonist.
Since we were very little, we got used to listening and watching fantasy stories offered to us by literature and cinema, such as the classic tales starring princesses.
Although stories like ‘Cinderella’, ‘Snow White’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, among others are from many years ago, they have been kept alive thanks to their adaptations to the big screen, mainly Disney productions. Although nowadays they have tried to modernize their messages with live actions, the truth is that the characters are iconic, such as Elsa from ‘Frozen’.

‘Frozen’ is undoubtedly one of the best Disney releases in recent times, breaking unimaginable records in the cinema and leaving a mark in the hearts of many people who grew up with its characters and songs.
Although many of those children are now teenagers and adults, the newer generations continue to enjoy it and have fun with the adventure, to the point of not missing the opportunity to have their picture taken with the main characters, even if they aren’t really the main characters. Such was the case of some children who mistook a drag queen for Elsa herself.

As many know, drag queens are people who dress and act like a character with quite exaggerated feminine features with great histrionics to present themselves on stage. Monica Bracamontes is one of them.
Played by Oscar Margalli, Monica paid a visit to the Yucatan Fair Xmatkuil (Mexico) along with her friend Silvanashow to put on a show at the Malvada Rumba. Before the presentation, they made a tour of the place without imagining that many children would ask her for a picture since they thought she was the blonde protagonist of ‘Frozen’.

The moment was shared by Silvanashow on her Facebook account. «When you go with your friend the transvestite and the kids mistake her for Elsa,» she said with laughter.
In the comments she assured that «It’s not a joke«, posting another image, and that was because Monica’s outfit and hair were similar to Elsa’s. It was enough for her to take a picture with a little boy for a line to form where they waited their turn.

The publication didn’t take long to go viral and surpassed 5,000 reactions, and of course, it also received many comments. «Well, that’s nice. It shows that children see her with different eyes. They see her as a queen. There’s no discrimination for them,» said a user in the post.
