For one young woman in the United States, the gift she received sparked a little bit of laughter and a lot of tenderness. She went on a date with a young farmer, and he brought her nothing other than a huge 12-kg piece of cheese.
Just as some people give flowers, chocolates or a balloon, for this young farmer, the right thing to do was to offer his date a piece of the best cheese from his field to win her over. Of course, it reminds us of actions from past centuries.
