Myles Harris was doing a dispatch for WSYZ ABC 6 (USA), never expecting for his mother to make a brief appearance. “She always wants a front row seat,” the reporter told ABC7.
To our mothers, we will always be their babies, even when we’re no longer little. It’s hard for them to stop seeing us as such because they’ve known us since they first learned the news that they were expecting us in their womb, so in a way it’s understandable.
It doesn’t mean that they don’t want to accept that we’ve become adults, because they still take care of us at our older age. They want us to be good people, study, have a job and never lack anything. In that same way,we strive to make them feel proud of us for fulfilling our dreams.
They always find the moment to show us their happiness for who we are, however, sometimes they don’t choose the most appropriate scenario, like Myles Harris’ mother. He’s an American journalist who received his mom’s greeting in the middle of a broadcast for a channel.

While the reporter was doing his dispatch for WSYZ ABC 6 in Columbus, Ohio, he came across a surprise on the street and she couldn’t help but comment on air.
What appeared to be a normal workday turned into a brief, awkward and tender moment for him and viewers after Sandi, his mother, made an appearance in her car.

“That’s my mom, hold on,” Myles told the cameraman showing an awkward face, but at the same time trying to hold in his laughter because he knew she wasn’t going to pass by without greeting him and his colleague.
“Hi baby!” said Sandi, greeting him from her vehicle. The woman didn’t care that her son was broadcasting live, she just wanted to talk to him a little and just show how proud she is of him for working on television.

The reporter told his mom not to stop so long on the street because it would cause traffic, so she took his advice and left. The moment was brief but funny and Myles struggled to contain his laughter afterward. He shared the video on his Instagram, where he commented “Typical Sandi. Yes, typical Sandi,” and users have left their opinions on the post. “This is amazing”, “Mom!”, “My mom would absolutely do this”, were some of the comments.
The moment has circled the world and Myles has been asked about this in the local media. “Number one cheerleader. She always wants a front-row seat. And that’s just a prime example of, one, a mom being a mom, but just trying to get that front-row seat to see what I’m doing.” the journalist commented to ABC7.
