A man has been branded “lazy” after serving Christmas dinner on disposable baking trays. He claims it saves a lot of washing up, allowing him to enjoy more time with his family.
Just as presents are for children, Christmas dinner is the most awaited moment for adults. Enjoying a delicious meal, a couple of drinks, and being with your loved ones seems to be the most valuable experience for everyone. However, we can all agree that celebrating Christmas can be stressful.
So, in an attempt to save a few hours cleaning up inside the kitchen at Christmas, one man used an alternative method to avoid making an excessive mess: he put disposable plates on the Christmas table.
Through social media, the man’s wife shared his trick to save time and avoid making a mess. However, instead of being applauded for his technique, he was branded “lazy” by Christmas-loving users.
While the father’s wife admitted she thought it was “crazy” at first, she later saw the sense in putting out aluminum baking trays, considering the number of people who visit their home each year.
Of course, unsurprisingly, not everyone was convinced by his stunt, and the online comments were quick to follow
“I guess this ends up in a landfill. It doesn’t take long to do some dishes – get the family involved. Get the family involved and use the nice dishes instead,” said one user. “No, no, no, I wouldn’t eat with foil. So lazy,” said another.
