Best-selling author Cecelia Ahren published her second book about this romantic story on social media, and we still don’t know if it will go to the big screen.
Whenever we hear the word remake, sequels, or prequels, it seems they’re taking our hearts and squeezing them, cause we know that those stories that moved us, and made us laugh and cry many years ago will be back.
Even more if we talk about romantic films, as it’s one of the genres that we love the most, mainly because there were big productions that were a turning point in the industry, just like “P.S. I Love You.”
The film that was shot in 2007 combines romance and sorrow to such a level that it has left us wanting more, and Cecilia Ahern (author of the book on which the story is based) has brought us big news: the sequel to “P.S. I Love You” is coming.

I have BIG NEWS! I’ve written the sequel to PS I LOVE YOU – titled POSTSCRIPT.
POSTSCRIPT will be published September 19th in the UK & Ireland. I hope you’ll welcome back Holly… & Gerry…& that reading it will be as emotional for you as it was for me. wrote the Irish author on Twitter.
The first edition was first published in 2004, and as everybody knows it follow Holly and her husband Gerry, who dies from a brain tumor. However, she discovers that the love of her life has left her 10 letters, and each of them has a different message signed off with “P.S. I Love You.”

“There she is, beside her sister, ready to go…”
The book was a boom, and as a result of it she has written about 15 novels. She has sold around 25 million copies in 40 countries and in 20 different languages. Its popularity grew in 2007 when Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler took part in the film. Therefore, it is expected that 12 years later after the success of the first one, a second story (perhaps with different protagonists) will return to the big screen.
