However, there are also couples who decide to save a little money and hire friends. According to a story recently published on Reddit, a couple wanted to do it that way, but it turned out much worse than they expected.
In that social network, a user who was invited to the wedding of some friends told an anecdote, but the bride and groom hadn’t hired anyone to take the photos.

It was then that they asked her if she could be the photographer, despite the fact that she wasn’t one… she cuts the hair of pets in a veterinarian’s office. They told her that it didn’t matter that she didn’t know much about photography, since the images didn’t have to be perfect.
On top of that, they explained that they could pay her, but not as much as a professional photographer, since they had no more money left. «They were on a shoestring budget and I agreed to shoot it for $250, which is nothing for a 10 hour event,» she explained in the post.

Since they were her friends, the young woman made no fuss and started taking photos at around 11am. «I was due to finish around 7:30 pm. Around 5pm, food is being served and I was told I cannot stop to eat because I need to be the photographer; in fact, they didn’t save me a spot at any table,« said the young woman.
Then everything got more complicated and the young woman’s mood began to worsen. «I’m getting tired and at this point kinda regretting doing this for next to nothing,» added the woman, who kept taking pictures in almost 40-degree heat and without air conditioning.

The open bar was closed, and water was unavailable. At one point, the groom approached her and told her she had to keep taking pictures or she would leave without pay. However, between the heat, the overwhelming environment and the bad mood, the young woman decided to leave and delete the photos right in front of them.
«With the heat, being hungry, being generally annoyed at the circumstances, I asked if he was sure, and he said yes, so I deleted all the photos I took in front of him and took off saying I’m not his photographer anymore,» the young woman emphasized.

The woman left and to this day she doesn’t know much about the bride and groom, since they left for their honeymoon. “A lot of people have been posting on their wall asking about photos with zero responses,» she finished.
