In many countries, one of the most important traditions in a girl’s life takes place when she turns 15 and her people throw a huge party to celebrate in style. In fact, in some locations this is of utmost importance, and it doesn’t matter how much you have to spend in order to give the girl the night of her dreams.
Sometimes families don’t have the resources to give their daughter the celebration she deserves, but that is when creativity comes in and ideas arise to substitute some things in order to organize a great event but with a smaller budget.
That seems to be the case of this young woman from Veracruz, in the south of Mexico, who was seen going on the traditional quinceañera tour in this country in a very particular way. It is typical, especially in the capital, for girls to get into a limousine when they reach this age and go on a ride before the party.
However, as this young girl’s relatives couldn’t afford a luxurious vehicle, they got a buffalo for the teenager to ride on. According to Sonora Visión, the girl is Bárbara Monserrat, who resides in the town of Cosoleacaque, a coastal city.

Even though they didn’t have all the possibilities that other homes had, Barbara didn’t miss the opportunity to celebrate her 15th birthday party and not even having to ride on this animal discouraged her. On the contrary, as can be seen in the photographs, she was very happy with her turquoise blue dress riding on the ruminant.
