The shelter’s stuff couldn’t resist capturing his daily routine and sharing it on social media.

For more than a month, this loving pit bull called Rush made his bed inside his cold cage at the Society for the Improvement of Conditions for Straight Animals (SICSA) shelter in Ohio, Canada.

As he was a homeless dog, he had no idea about how to make the bed. However, he would do it with so much effort and an adorable face, that the staff couldn’t resist capturing his daily routine and sharing it on social media.

In just a few hours, the video went viral, and everyone was impressed with his intelligence, kindness, and grace. However, they were missing the most important thing: Finding him a home where they’d give him food, love, and a real bed.

The shelter kept looking for a family while he was sadly waiting inside his cage, until they could finally make the important announcement through their Facebook account: “We are very excited to announce that Rush has a new family!”

The couple lives in California, and had recently lost their pet, so they considered that adopting Rush was a sign of fate.

Rush’s story has a happy ending, and he’ll probably keep making his bed in his new home. We hope his adoptive family will keep us updated about his new life surrounded by love, but most importantly: we hope they’d let us know if he has something else up his sleeve.
