«My biological dad, who never gave me a penny of child support: ‘Are you sure you want to study baking? You should study something else (…) My stepfather taking care of me since I was three years old, helping me to paint my baking workshop,» said this young woman on TikTok.

Not everyone is lucky enough to have grown up in a home with a stable family and without major conflicts. There are many people who have had to suffer the traumatic experience of seeing their parents separate and divorce.

However, there are some people who make an effort to take in children who never saw their fathers or mothers again. We’re talking about those couples who come into the lives of these families to make up for that lack.

One such case is that of Anthuane Cardoza, a young woman from TikTok who went viral for a video she dedicated to her stepfather.

According to information from El Comercio, the young woman is a baker and started her own business in Lima, Peru, a few months ago. That’s why, as a way of spreading the word about her business, she recently made a video in which she paid tribute to her mother’s partner, who has looked after her since she was three years old.

«My biological father who never gave me a penny of child support: ‘Are you sure you want to study baking? You should study something else’ (…) My stepfather taking care of me since I was three years old, helping me to paint my baking workshop», she narrated in the video.

With her post, Anthuane wanted to show that the affection she feels for her stepfather is the same as if he were her biological father, because despite not being her blood relative, this man has accompanied her every step of the way and throughout her important stages.

As she said in other videos, the girl’s love for baking started in her parents’ kitchen, where she baked cakes almost every day.

After a couple of years, they had the idea of creating a space on the first floor of the house so that she could set up her own baking workshop. That’s when Anthuane decided that this would be the trade she wanted to dedicate herself to for the rest of her life.
