A young worker borrowed money for eight months from a woman. Right after those months, he approached her and paid her back every penny he collected working in a supermarket. «I wanted to cry because there are still people who value what a loan is,» wrote the woman who lent him the money.
Social media allows us to get closer to stories that happen around the world that are worthy of being known by everyone. This time, a young man gave a huge example of the importance of work and of giving our word first and foremost.
A woman on her Facebook account shared a post where she told the story of a supermarket bagger who asked her for a loan eight months ago and who now paid her back penny by penny in coins.

The woman who lent her the money wrote a heartfelt post with a touching text and two images to thank the boy who repaid her debts. This type of situation is often not regularized, especially when eight months had already passed.
«They say that when you do something with your right hand, your left hand doesn’t know, but this is admirable. Eight months ago, a person asked me to borrow 1,500 Mexican pesos (71 dollars). That person is poor and now works as a packer,» the user began to write excitedly on social networks.
The post, which was accompanied by two images of a table full of coins, went on to explain:
«He told me: ‘Lend me 1,500, I’ll pay you back in eight months’. I lent him the money because I liked his sincerity. Today, I no longer remembered that money, but he arrived very early in the morning and paid me back every penny, just with small change. I wanted to cry because there are still people who really value a loan.”

Although the woman received the money, she never thought that the loan she made months ago would actually be repaid, as she never asked her debtor for the money back nor did she pressure or harass him, as tends to happen when a debt exists.
Clearly, the young worker’s act of profound honesty was applauded on social media and was taken as an exemplary story to regularize debts, no matter how small. In addition, this anecdote, of course, also restores our faith in humanity.
