The 38-year-old Brazilian youtuber, Mayra Cardi, has been known for her affection for her employees. She recently gave a car to her daughter Sophia’s nanny.

There are many people who, in order to have a little help with household chores, hire employees to take care of different tasks, such as cleaning, cooking meals or maintaining the garden.

Special relationships develop with those employees sometimes, since being in contact with them day after day makes them end up becoming part of the family.

One such relationship was forged by a famous Brazilian YouTuber and influencer named Mayra Cardi, who made headlines a couple of days ago after revealing in an interview that she spends $2,600 on groceries for her employees.

According to information from Osegredo, the 38-year-old content creator was interviewed by a podcast called “Poddelas“, where she assured that she was always worried about giving the same food she consumes to her employees and employees in her home.

She explained that this gesture was born because “it’s very expensive what I eat. I can’t eat one thing and give them something else. They eat what I eat”.

In this way, she has wanted to treat her three employees well, who are in charge of the cleaning, to make their workplace dignified and so that they can enjoy the same privileges that she has. “It’s never about what I spend on myself, it’s about giving to those around you equally,” she added.

On top of that, the YouTuber called for people with household employees to treat them with dignity. “Don’t have money to have employees? Then don’t have them. Go and clean your house yourself. Either you treat your employees the same as you treat yourself, or you’d better not have them,” she said.
