A truly incredible and unexpected situation occurred in Egypt.
The traditional way of giving birth, in a hospital, with anaesthesia and surrounded by doctors, has been totally forgotten (?). More and more women are deciding to choose alternative methods to bring their children into the world.
Water birth has become one of the most popular ways used today. Women submerge themselves into a pool or tub to deliver their children in a very natural way.
However, what just happened in Egypt is incredibly unique and surpasses all of our mental limits. This is the incredible moment when a baby was born in the Red Sea.
Hadia Hosny El Said was on the balcony of her uncle’s apartment in Dahab when she suddenly became aware of a particular situation occurring at sea.
Two men emerged from the sea with a container. Then, they came out with a baby in their arms. What was going on?
WHERE WAS THE MOTHER?!
Moments later, the mother also emerged from the sea, looking like she’d been swimming right before giving birth. After the delivery, the placenta was placed in a container before the baby was pulled out of the water with the umbilical cord still attached.
Another child was waiting on the beach to celebrate the new arrival. The mother joined in shortly in an emotional family moment.
Hadia said the older man carrying her baby is a doctor who specializes in water births, so the delivery was probably arranged in advance.
Neither the mother’s identity nor the child’s condition have been revealed, although both appeared happy and healthy after the delivery.
