Promise kept: Bosnian striker served 800 liters of free beer after qualifying for the World Cup

Ermedin Demirović, forward for VfB Stuttgart, promised free beer for all his fans if his national team, Bosnia and Herzegovina, qualified for the World Cup.

Demirović was part of the historic feat after defeating Italy and qualifying for the World Cup. And he didn’t just talk: he literally followed through. It was the striker himself who poured the glasses.

During the Stuttgart Spring Festival celebration, he got behind the bar and served more than 800 liters of beer to those in attendance, keeping his promise.
