The Oscar-winning actress is known for amplifying women’s voices through her book club and film projects. On her Instagram account, she shared with her followers that it is necessary to learn about AI.
“Well… I’ve decided it’s TIME,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram Reel.
“Jobs held by women are three times more likely to be automated by AI, yet women use AI at a 25% lower rate than men on average. We don’t want to fall behind. So… do you want to learn with me?” she said on Instagram.
The actress shared that in her book club she asked ten women if they used AI, and only three said yes. “How many of those three know if they’re using it correctly?” and only one raised her hand, she stated.
“If only three out of ten women are using AI, 70% are being left behind. Technology moves fast, so you need to start learning,” she said.
She also suggested it was necessary to share what she knows about AI on her social networks. “Do you want to learn with me?” she concluded.
