In the south of South Korea, a natural phenomenon takes place that amazes thousands of people every year. On Jindo Island, the sea recedes dramatically, revealing a strip of land that connects to the nearby island of Modo.

This event, known as the “Jindo Miracle,” is not magic, but the result of especially low tides that uncover a natural path nearly 3 kilometers long. During that brief period, visitors can walk across the seabed in a scene that seems unreal.

What is most striking is how short-lived it is: the path remains visible for only 40 to 60 minutes before disappearing once again beneath the water. A spectacle in which nature completely transforms the landscape.
