The FBI has just intervened in one of the most disturbing and complex custody cases in recent years. Rose Inessa-Ethington (a transgender woman and the child’s biological father) and her partner, Blue, were deported to the U.S. and face charges of international kidnapping.
Both deceived the biological mother by saying they would take the 10-year-old child to a camp in Canada.
However, they emptied their bank accounts, crossed the border, flew to Mexico, and finally landed in Cuba.
According to the investigation and the family’s fears, their goal was to subject the minor to gender reassignment surgery before puberty, bypassing all U.S. laws.
Today, the child is safe with his mother.
