Orlando Magic players Noah Penda and Goga Bitadze performed a controversial ritual before taking the court to face the Detroit Pistons.
While in the tunnel, the players pretended to cut and snort drugs during their pre-game greeting.
This sparked outrage among fans on social media: “I’d give them a 200-game suspension. A truly deplorable example for all the young players watching the games.”
Despite everything, no sanctions have been reported so far for the players, who are currently the focus of criticism in the NBA.
