Ernie Dosio, 75 years old, was the owner of an agricultural company that works vineyards in Modesto, California.

And his afternoon hobby wasn’t embroidery, but hunting animals. Dosio posed next to lions, elk, deer and even birds; basically, if something breathed, Ernie liked to introduce it to his arsenal.

Well, it turns out that this elderly man traveled to the African continent to add a species of antelope to his list of trophies, the yellow-backed duiker.

But on the trip they came across a mother elephant with her calves.
They tried to avoid them, but they were chased by the mammals and they couldn’t hide Ernie, who met his fatal fate there.
