On April 18, singer Laura Pausini stopped her concert in Lima, Peru after noticing that the audience wasn’t singing along to her songs.

In the middle of the show, the artist asked a cameraman to focus on the fans who were actually singing. “Excuse me: who is the person filming the audience? You? Sir, you need to go further back because the front row pays a lot, but they don’t know my songs,” she said into the microphone.
Following the controversy, Pausini wrote on Instagram that she didn’t intend to offend anyone; it’s simply sad for a singer to see people in the front rows without enthusiasm. For that reason, she asked the cameraman to focus on those who were actually singing.
