The quiet town of Sabanalarga was rocked by a scandal that seemed straight out of a soap opera.
A woman, suspicious of her 36-year-old partner’s loyalty, stormed into his home only to uncover a devastating scene: the man — a well-known motorcycle taxi driver — was allegedly involved in a relationship with her own 70-year-old mother-in-law.
Amid tears, shouting, and heartbreak, the woman revealed that her mother had even been giving the man money that she herself provided for her expenses.
“I’m deeply disappointed in you,” the daughter said as the man fled the scene on his motorcycle. The case has since gone viral not only because of the alleged affair, but also due to the apparent financial exploitation of the elderly woman.
