Ashley has not even turned 30 yet and she already has two arrests on her record for domestic abuse, but behind what seems to be an unstable and immature young woman, there is a broken family and a single mother in need of help to get her son back.
In March 2026, an officer answered the call of a man who claimed he had been attacked by a young woman over an argument with her ex-boyfriend over the care of their mutual child.
“She’s bitten me and hit me in the face with a stick.“
The man was her stepfather, even if he told officers he “doesn’t like to use that word”. The man would claim the girl was violating her parole being so close to his home and expressing how troubled Ashley was, something the officers would soon experience.
An unstable mother.
At first, Ashley fled from the officers but eventually she would not resist the arrest. She would, however, quickly share disturbing information about her first arrest.
“My mom locked me up in prison for kicking my son 2 years ago“.
After assaulting her child, the woman was banned from being around him, something that sparked this new incident. Ashley confessed she exploded when her mother asked her to look after her nieces and nephews.
During the visit, Ashley would explain it all happened while she was on a video call with her son and her mother mocked Ashley’s loving comments, which led to a heated argument between them that escalated to physical assaut when the stepfather got involved.
“Let me have a damn cigarette!”
Ashley’s apparent clam broke in seconds when the officer in charge denied her a cigarette while she was cuffed inside his patrol car, starting a ruckus that would end up in the hospital.
The woman would later blame her bleeding face on the officers, because they didn’t buckle her seatbelt for her, before breaking down in tears.
