Gianna, 13, wanted to continue her father’s legacy in basketball 💔
Recently, the world was shocked to hear that legendary basketball player, Kobe Bryant, had lost his life in a helicopter accident along with seven other people. One of them was his beloved daughter, Gianna, who was only 13 years old.
The helicopter in which both were traveling fell in Calabasas, California, and took their lives immediately. They were on their way to the Mamba Academy, the sports complex Kobe founded, to attend the “Mamba Cup”.
The relationship between Gigi and her father was special. He was proud of his daughter and always boasted about her, how talented she was and how promising her future looked.
In fact, a video had recently gone viral in which he explained something about basketball to his daughter while watching a game. They used to go to many games together.

Gianna wanted to continue her father’s legacy. She admired him… and this was evident in the exciting father-daughter relationship they shared.
Rest in peace, Kobe and Gigi.
You’ll always be remembered. ❤
