This bride didn’t want any children at her wedding, including her future husband’s daughter, which was as unpleasant for him as it was for the people who heard about her idea. “I’m marrying him, not his crotch goblin,” the woman said.
When a loving relationship between two people is formed it is necessary for each to understand the other completely, both in their feelings and in the way they are. They must even take into account their past.
However, many times one of the parties in the relationship doesn’t seem to understand that a union is not just about one person’s perspective, which makes matters more delicate in such important instances as a wedding, when there must be a mutual agreement to start this new life.
However, there are often controversial cases, such as this stepmother’s, who, when planning her wedding, decided to ban children from the event, including her future husband’s three-year-old daughter, according to the British newspaper Metro.
In fact, it wasn’t just the action of excluding the little girl but also of insulting her fiancé. Everything was published in a group on Facebook, where the stepmother asked for help to make her wedding invitations, which included this rule.
“How do I tell my fiancé I don’t want his daughter at our wedding? I put ‘no kids’ on the invites, so I thought he’d get the point, but he keeps mentioning her being there? She’s three. I’m marrying him, not his crotch goblin. That’s his mistake, not mine,” the woman wrote in the post.
She added that “I don’t want her there because she’s needy as f**k and he makes everything about her, and I said no f**king kids!”.
However, contrary to her expectations, the bride received an avalanche of responses criticizing the way she acted, especially since it was her fiancé’s daughter, who, in the end, is part of her family and with whom she’ll have to share her life.
