Former bank manager Guillaume Bucci has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for subjecting his ex-partner, Laetitia R., to a hell of torture and abuse for 7 years.
Under psychological manipulation and death threats, the man forced her to be with nearly 500 men.
The man began recruiting strangers through the internet and forced Laetitia into prostitution at highway service areas, selling her body to colleagues, friends, and strangers while he listened to everything over the phone. In addition, he made her keep a detailed log of each assault.

🗣️“I stopped counting when I reached 487 men. Some of them saw me as many as ten different times. I felt like I was dying inside”, Laetitia said in one of the most heartbreaking hearings of the trial.
Laetitia, a mother of four, now suffers severe physical disabilities due to the brutal assaults, strangulations, and burns she endured.

Even though the banker’s defense argued until the very last minute that the acts were part of a “consensual game” and that he “did not believe he was hurting her”, the court categorically rejected those arguments by presenting voice messages in which he threatened to kill her if she did not obey.
Laetitia R. decided to reject a closed-door trial and demanded that the hearings be completely public. Her lawyer, Philippe-Henry Honegger, confirmed that his client made the brave decision inspired by Gisèle Pelicot, the woman who became a global feminist icon after demanding a public trial against her own husband for having drugged her so she could be abused by dozens of strangers.

The judge determined that Bucci must serve at least two thirds of his 25-year sentence effectively behind bars before being able to request any parole benefit, thus closing one of the darkest True Crime chapters in the European country.
What do you think about the sentence handed down against this man? Inspired by the Gisèle Pelicot case, she demanded a public trial to unmask her tormentor. Justice for her! ⚖️🤬
