[PHOTOS] Cucurella’s strange tattoos… and the unusual one he promised to get if Spain wins the World Cup

Marc Cucurella is not only making headlines for his great performance with Spain at the 2026 World Cup, but also for the huge collection of tattoos covering much of his body.

Among the most striking are a pair of large eyes on his forearm, which appear to belong to his wife.

They most likely belong to his wife, because he also had her name tattooed, but he covered it up with her eyes (apparently the name was not enough).

A lion.

A rose.

And an almost fully tattooed back featuring several felines, including lions and tigers.

On the upper part, he also has the Italian phrase “La vita é bella” tattooed (“Life is beautiful”).

But that is not the most curious part.

The Spanish full-back promised that, if Spain manages to win the World Cup, he will tattoo the face of national team coach Luis de la Fuente as a tribute to the manager who led the team into the title race.

The confession quickly went viral and sparked all kinds of comments. While some say he has no room left for more bad decisions, others hope Spain become champions just to see whether he really keeps the promise (which he most likely will).

With La Roja among the tournament’s best teams, the possibility of seeing that tattoo no longer seems so far-fetched.
