One of the most unusual moments of the 2026 World Cup happened during the match between Paraguay and Turkey, when a rather uncommon object appeared in the middle of an argument between players.
In the final stretch of the first half, several players were involved in a confusing scrum around Salvadoran referee Iván Barton. As he tried to separate the players, the watch on his wrist was accidentally pulled off and ended up on the grass.
