Erling Haaland is not only conquering the 2026 World Cup with his goals. He is also stealing hearts… even thousands of kilometers away from Norway.
Peruvian singer La Tigresa del Oriente surprised her followers by posting a video in which she appears hugging a life-size cardboard cutout of the striker and confessing that the goal scorer became her “platonic love”.
It all began when she shared a video accompanied by the song Me enamoré, asking her followers whether she should dedicate a song to the Norwegian striker. The response was immediate: thousands of people encouraged her to do it.
And she kept her promise.
A few hours later, she released a song inspired by Haaland, in which she sings lines such as: “He is not human, he is Haaland… He is from another planet, he scores many goals”, accompanying the video with a dedication: “For my platonic love, Haaland”.
The amusing tribute quickly began circulating on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, where thousands of users reacted with laughter and jokes, while others celebrated that the Norwegian striker has already become a true pop culture phenomenon.
Because, apparently, Haaland’s goals no longer only make football fans fall in love.
