Russian model Anastasia Kostromitina became a trending topic after a video posted by her mother began circulating massively on social media. The reason? Thousands of users were stunned by the huge physical resemblance she supposedly has to Erling Haaland.
The clip shows Anastasia smiling at the camera and, almost immediately, the comparisons began. Many pointed out that she shares the Norwegian striker’s blond hair, light-colored eyes, facial structure, and even some facial expressions.
The reactions quickly multiplied. Some joked that she was “Haaland with a filter”, others dubbed her “the female version of the goal scorer”, and some even claimed that “they look like siblings separated at birth”.
The buzz was so big that Erling Haaland himself ended up reacting on Instagram, leaving a humorous comment about the comparison that had gone viral.
Although the two are not related in any way, the resemblance was enough to turn Anastasia into one of the viral surprises of the 2026 World Cup, just as Haaland is going through one of the best moments of his career with the Norway national team.
